Lil' Kim and Mary J. Vs. Nicki Minaj and Keyshia Cole

The beef between rap artists Lil' Kim and Nicki Minaji has been off the charts for sometime now. But, now it seems that Lil' Kim is coming for more than just Nicki Minaj, and this time she has brought some back up. On Nicki Minaj's latest Album, Pink Friday, she has a single with R&B recording artist Keyshia Cole called, “I Ain’t Thru” (A Possible Dissing Directed Towards Both Mary J and Kim)
During her NYE performance, Lil' Kim expresses her feelings for Nicki Minaj by saying this: (language is graphic)
"I think this other bitch got a song with Keyshia Cole, right? Coming at me and the mothafuckin’ other queen, Mary J. Blige. Me and my girl Mary J. Blige about to eat these bitches alive where they won’t even fucking exist no more and erase their fucking social security number! We gon’ remind them who the fuck we are! I’m not playing with this bitch for 2011. I’m saying, we can rock together but bitch you ain’t taking nothing from me!"
– Lil’ Kim.

Love The Skin You're In : Keys to Flawless Skin

Many People think that having healthy skin is all about genetics. Though that may be a key factor in the biochemical make up of your skin, there are a plethora of things that you can do to have flawless skin without using makeup. First things first, you need to know what “skin type” you have. There are 5 basic skin types, Find which one you are by matching the description that best defines your skin.

  1. Normal Skin
Normal skin is the least problematic. The tissue will not reveal any traces of oil. It looks clean and smooth, has a good circulation and a healthy complexion.

2.  Dry Skin
After a wash, dry skin tends to be flaky and tight. The key to this skin is finding the right moisturizer to bring this skin to life.

3. Oily Skin
Oily skin is one of the most problematic skin types. In appearance skin will be oily, blotchy and shiny. This skin type may be prone to acne break outs. Oily skin requires frequent and proper cleansing.

Combination skin, is the skin type that most people have. It has patches of both dry and oily skin. The dry areas of skin are usually located around the cheeks and eyes. While oily areas, are  usually on the forehead and nose. As stated before dry areas should be moisturized frequently and oily areas should be cleaned frequently to avoid breakouts.

The Gorgeous, The Goofy, And The Ghetto As Hell: The Do's And Don'ts of Hair Extentions

Hey!!!!! How is Everyone doing?!?! Great I hope! My name is Courtney and This is MY FIRST BLOG! YAAYYY! Don’t worry there will be many more to come. SO LETS GET INTO IT!
Now as women, whether you are Black, White, Chinese, WHATEVER! WE have all seen a variety of hair weaves. Some Amazing and others... we’ll not so amazing. So I’m gonna start with my girl Beyonce’! Now as you will soon find out About me Beyonce’ is my girl! I am completely Beyonce’ Biased so if you don’t like it oh well! She’s the queen b of the industry and her hair is always on point. Fabulous darling fabulous!
Now as for Hottie She is what i like to call the Goofy. The girl who thinks she is cute but actually looks like a street walker. Now in some cases (Hottie's case) This woman actually has the potential to be a very attractive woman, however she will come out the house looking a hot mess and actually think that her behavior is acceptable! (tisk, tisk!)
Now Nicki Minaj, That's my other boo... but! she has made it OK for women (mainly my sistas) to come out the house looking like a walking American flag! and that is just not acceptable.....unless you are a drag queen!
Now there are 4 main keys to having a Fabulous hair weave. Lets Call These “The Weave Needs”
The Weave Needs Are:

1. Hair

Hair by far has to be the most IMPORTANT “Weave Need.” You can have the best stylist in the nation but if you brought your hair from the 99 cent store it’s going to show.
Now i know some of you may say, “well i can’t afford that virgin indian new born baby hair.” Don’t Worry! I have tried Practically EVERY Hair Weave on the planet and I will let you know exactly what the best weave for your budget is, as well as what weave brands to avoid! (OOO that was catchy! That's the next title) Any whoooo, the next “Weave Need” is:

 2. Installation & Maintenance

Installation & Maintenance is crucial to Maintaining beautiful hair AND  Protecting your natural hair. Depending on the type of hair you have naturally, different hair weave techniques will help your hair grow, while other weaving techniques will harm your hair. No matter what hair you have there is one weaving technique that I am banning you to try or even consider trying!
DO NOT: Use glues! I REPEAT DON'T USE GLUE IN YOUR HAIR.... IT IS THE DEVIL! (That includes bonding glues solvents adhesives and what ever else) Yes, it may be a cheap and quick way to get a head full of hair, but prolonged use is damaging and if you would like to keep that hair on your head for future weaving purposes, DON'T USE GLUE!
**Now if you use a protectant layer where the glue is not touching your hair that is fine! But if you even think about letting a drop of glue hit your head prepare to go bald**

Now that that is out of the way...
I myself have found that the sew in (net weave method) works best for my hair. With a sew in weave you natural hair is protected and it is very discreet, giving you a very natural look every time. I will be posting a video on how my stylist does my sew in as well as a video review on the hair that I am using (GlamRemySpot.com) sometime next week.
The next “weave need” is:

3. Stylist

Now we have all had a friend play beauty shop in our hair and it has gone horribly wrong. Hair has been cut, faces have been burned, and sometimes entire houses have gone up in flames! On the lighter note, Sometimes you just might move to a different location and lose your stylist (which is the predicament I myself am in). Now whatever your case may be, Always remember that a good stylist will hook your hair up! I have come to my stylist in Chicago, Tanisha, with two tracks in my hand a bobby pin and some rope and she will make it look like I’m America's Next Top Model. With that being said, Always remember ladies (or gents) your stylist should always be honest with you. Find someone who cares about your hair enough to tell you the truth about the condition it is in before and after you leave the shop.
Now what i have found to be the best way to locate a good stylist is to ask and observe. THAT'S RIGHT! ASK AND OBSERVE. Ask your friends or co-workers. See who they are going to, chances are if they like them you probably will to. Now the next step in this process is vital to your weave survival, and that is to observe. OBSERVATION just might save you a trip to the county for whippn’ a stylist ass because she jacked up your hair! Now just because your friend likes her stylist doesn’t mean she is good at what she does. Example: If your friend comes out the shop looking like a Flavor of Love Reject, Then that may not be the place for you to go. And secondly, if you don’t tell her she looks a mess then you are a bad friend. (just saying) Now The last Key in our “Weave Needs” is:

4. Style, Cut and Color

Now recently I have noticed (And I'm sure most of you all have too) That a lot of females think that they are Nicki Minaj. This is a message for all of the women who think that its is acceptable to walk out the house "looking like Nicki Minaj"  (What you are about to read is graphic you have been forewarned!)

NICKI MINAJ IS A DAMN ENTERTAINER! IF SHE WANTS TO PUT A BLUE WIG WITH A FLAMING KANGAROO ON HER HEAD SHE CAN DO THAT! WHY??? BECAUSE SHE GETS PAID TO! YOU CAN NOT! AND HONESTLY, I DON'T CARE IF YOU ARE GETTING PAID TO. UNLESS YOU ARE AT A "REAL" PHOTO SHOOT (NOT WITH YOUR FRIENDS WITH THE CAMERA PHONE) YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WALK OUT IN PUBLIC LOOKING LIKE THAT!  I REPEAT! YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WALK DOWN THE STREET, DOWN THE BLOCK OR UP THE STAIRS, LOOKING A GHETTO MESS! IT IS NOT CUTE! AND WHOEVER TOLD YOU IT WAS LIED! IT’S GHETTO AS HELL!!! NOW IF THAT'S THE LOOK YOU ARE GOING FOR DO YOU BOO BOO... BUT ITS NOT CUTE! AND LASTLY MY BEAUTIFUL DARK SKINNED AND ASIAN WOMEN DO NOT WEAR PLATINUM BLONDE WEAVES... ITS NOT CUTE! IT IS TACKY AND TASTELESS!

PHEW! OK! :) Now that I have vented, hair color is very important when getting a weave. You want a color that matches well with  the hair that is on your head. It makes it very easy for blending the weave hair with your natural hair and will give you a great look every time.
Now the style and cut of the weave can make you go from a plain Jane look, to a Sex Kitten in minutes! Once again it all depends on the stylist.
But with these four tips you can’t go wrong when it comes to getting a weave! So go out into the world and add those tracks....tastefully!
